About Coastal Treats by Rose & Ruby
Coastal Treats started the way a lot of good Florida ideas do: we packed up in Georgia, landed on the Gulf, and spent our first months walking local markets with a sweet tooth and two Cavaliers on the leash. Those stalls — the bakers, the candy makers, the people who knew everyone’s name — are what made Dunedin feel like home. We wanted a small kitchen that belonged here the same way.
The name is for Rose and Ruby, our Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, and for the coast we live on now. Beachy on purpose: seafoam, sand, and treats you can tuck in a bag for the market, the porch, or a Saturday with family.
We bake shelf-stable cookies, candy, and other cottage sweets in our Dunedin home kitchen and sell them directly to you. The goal is simple. Become part of this community, show up at the markets that inspired us, and send people home with something sweet they are happy to share.

Meet the Founders
Every delightful batch we bake at Coastal Treats by Rose & Ruby is motivated by our two constant inspirations. Rose and Ruby, our cherished Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, represent the pure happiness that comes from providing wonderful sweets to the people you care about most.
Rose (on the right) is our gentle soul, while Ruby (on the left) is full of spirited energy. Both adore being the center of attention and thrive in the fresh air, whether they are on car journeys, paddling in the water, or hunting for lizards. After growing up on a houseboat at Lake Lanier in Georgia, they are now happily embracing the coastal lifestyle and sunny beaches of Dunedin, Florida.
Having been married for 14 years, we share our pups' passion for the great outdoors. Our recent four-year chapter spent living on the water involved endless boating, swimming, and jet skiing adventures alongside many fun-filled trips to local dog parks.
As dedicated food enthusiasts, discovering Dunedin and Clearwater has been a wonderful experience. Exploring local eateries and supporting small vendors allowed us to see how tightly-knit this community truly is. That sense of connection drove us to establish our own presence here and contribute something meaningful.
We are so grateful for the warm reception we have received. Our commitment to you includes meticulously crafted treats, friendly service, and a home kitchen dedicated to nourishing this vibrant town.
